Located in the heart of Pennsylvania, we are a chartered club of Zonta International, a worldwide service organization of executives in business and the professions working together since 1919 to advance the status of women.  We are also a 501(C)3 public charity.

The Zonta Club of Harrisburg Hershey was recently recognized by Domestic Violence Services of Cumberland and Perry Counties at their 1st Annual Evening of Excellence Dinner as the non-profit organization who has exemplified advocacy through education and mentoring; innovative efforts to assist victims of domestic violence; and on-going support to end violence against women for the 19 years that DVS/CP has provided services in this area.  Learn and see more about this in our November 2009 newsletter, posted on the News tab.

The Zonta Club of Harrisburg Hershey awarded grants totalling $6,000 to five local agencies in May 2009 in support of their efforts to improve the status of women in the local community.  The Club also awarded a $500 Young Women in Public Affairs scholarship to a high school student who demonstrated strong leadership skills and awareness of issues facing women internationally.
